Description:

Responsible to the Quality Manager for the following areas:

• Ensure the efficient functioning of all quality aspects within the assigned area;
• Supervise, advise, train and mentor personnel under his charge;
• Assign day-to-day duties to Quality Inspectors under his charge;
• Liaise with company departments, subcontractors and/or customers to analyse and review defects or deficiencies in aircraft maintenance practices;
• Formulate recommendations for the purpose of improving standards;
• Conduct investigation and facilitate the reporting of internal and external incident and accidents;
• Assist the quality management to conduct competency tests and the approval of aircraft personnel;
• Perform audits in accordance with the approved internal audit programme;
• Perform surveillance of production areas for compliance to SOP / Safety requirements;
• Perform maintenance, review and promulgation of SOP / Quality manuals;
• Compile and review aircraft summary reports in conjunction with Technical Records Office;
• Knowledge of CAA Part 145 will be an added advantage
• Posses good technical writing skills and knowledge of Microsoft application
• Any other duties as directed by HOD Q&S or Quality Manager

Requirement:

• Diploma in Engineering or equivalent is preferred
