This position plans and conducts activities concerned with the quality control and quality assurance of industrial processes, materials, and products. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and with reasonable accommodation when necessary. Job Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities · Develops and initiates standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation. Plans and conducts the analysis, inspection, design, test, and/or integration to assure the quality of the assigned product or component. Devises sampling procedures and designs and develops forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data. Performs quality engineering reviews of design documentation for compliance with stated requirements, including vendor quality manuals and company quality records. Documents data obtained during all quality activities consistent with company policies and procedures. Prepares reports to communicate involvement and results of quality activities. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Consistently, regularly and predictably at work and on time. Other duties may be assigned as needed. Qualifications Education, Certifications, Licenses, & Registrations - Bachelor's degree and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
