Description
The Quality organization is currently seeking a solutions-oriented to join the Quality team at Saltillo Truck Light Duty(STLD) in Saltillo, México. This position offers the selected candidate an opportunity to be an integral part of a company whose focus is to change the automotive landscape.  The selected candidate will oversee and review project deliverables throughout the project lifecycle ensuring the product meets or exceeds customers’ needs and expectations. Specific responsibilities are:  * Contribute to the achievement of Quality Objectives.  * Acquisition of new customer alerts outside of the plant (warranty claims, customer incident reports, and PDI).  * Plant Manufacturing Team: Reporting the internal KPI issues due to non-conformities from their process and validate the action plans to overcome them (special focus on repeated issues, and safety problems)   * Working closely with Production team to challenge the PQG’s (Quality gates) offering tangible knowledge to move or set new checks in system.  * Command processes of internal alert (Post Its) creation to the quality organization, from PQG, Cert Line and inform responsible parties about them.  * Monitoring new issues reported through Palantir for mapping source stations and containments * Meeting with SCA and Production to check top quality claims and challenge the current quality controls if necessary (DVx and SCA).   * Understand QMS/MQGR standards and all PS related to them to implement them at the plant Qualifications Basic Qualifications:  * Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.  * Strong communication skills, both written and verbal from High Level Meetings down to the Shop Floor  * Rigorous and pragmatic  * Languages: plant language & English 80%   Preferred Qualifications:  * Bachelor’s degree in the fields of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology from an accredited university.  * Experience in a manufacturing/union environment.  * Experience in Quality Standards and Control plan implementation
