JOB DESCRIPTION:

Evoove is partnered with a leading aerospace manufacturer seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to drive supplier performance and compliance across critical aerospace programs. This full-time, direct-hire role is based in Los Angeles, CA or Charlotte, NC, with a salary range of $130K–$145K, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct supplier audits (AS9100, NADCAP) and approve new vendors
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective action for supplier non-conformances
• Monitor supplier KPIs including FAI/PPAP results and delivery quality
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and ensure supplier readiness
• Maintain quality agreements and stay current on aerospace standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related engineering field
• 3–5+ years in aerospace or defense supplier quality
• Strong knowledge of AS9100, NADCAP, FAI/PPAP; auditing certification preferred
• Skilled in root cause tools (8D, 5 Whys) and special process oversight
• Willing to travel 30–50% domestically and internationally

Preferred:

• Experience with APQP, DFMEA/PFMEA, SAP/ERP, Minitab
• Lean/Six Sigma certification a plus
