Description

Job Title: Quality Engineer – TCS BaNCS Payments Upgrade Experience Required: 3–5 years of experience in software testing, with strong domain expertise in payment systems and a deep understanding of critical payment rails to ensure Seamless Migration Assurance and end-to-end Quality Intelligence. Key Responsibilities: Develop detailed test cases based on functional and technical specifications. Perform manual testing to validate system behavior across multiple payment rails. Collaborate with automation teams to identify test cases suitable for automation. Provide inputs for automation scripts and frameworks. Validate the upgrade from BaNCS v10 to v14 ensuring zero disruption in payment flows. Conduct end-to-end testing across integrated systems and interfaces. Log, track, and verify defects using standard tools. Work closely with developers and business analysts for timely resolutions. Ensure compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices. Provide insights and recommendations for improving test coverage and efficiency. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. 3–5 years of experience in software testing, with strong understanding of critical payment rails: SWIFT, SAMOS, CBPR+, SADC, FX. Experience in manual testing and test case design. Familiarity with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, UFT, or similar). Hands-on experience with TCS BaNCS Payments module. Knowledge of cross-border payments, real-time gross settlement systems, and foreign exchange workflows. Proficiency in defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM). Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and migration testing methodologies.
