ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer on behalf of one of our esteemed clients in the defense, aerospace, or subsea sectors. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in quality management systems and an in-depth understanding of industry standards, with a specific focus on delivering high-quality solutions for complex engineering projects.

• Design, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes, ensuring products meet all required standards and specifications.
• Conduct thorough inspections, audits, and product testing to verify conformance to technical drawings and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify and resolve any quality concerns, ensuring corrective and preventive actions are effectively implemented.
• Lead root cause analysis investigations, driving process improvements and recommending solutions to prevent future issues.
• Ensure that quality control processes are compliant with industry standards, including ISO 9001, AS9100, and any relevant defense or aerospace certifications.
• Work closely with customers and suppliers to address any quality-related concerns and perform continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support regulatory audits and ensure ongoing compliance with industry regulations (e.g., ITAR, DFARS).
• Develop and present regular quality reports, highlighting non-conformities, corrective actions, and key performance metrics.
