Join a well-established engineering firm at the forefront of traditional and renewable energy as a Quality Engineer in Aberdeen. This is a permanent staff role offering a 38-hour week with an early finish on a Friday and attractive staff benefits.

WHY THIS ROLE?

This is more than a replacement hire – it’s a chance to make the role your own. You’ll join a collaborative HSEQ Team, reporting to the HSEQ Manager. You’ll have no direct reports but will be the key figure in managing and developing quality systems across the business. This includes engaging with internal teams and external suppliers to drive continuous improvement and compliance.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Maintaining and improving quality procedures in line with ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, and API Q1 standards.
• Investigating non-conformances and carrying out root cause analysis.
• Performing internal and external audits.
• Liaising with Production and Supply Chain Teams to ensure quality is embedded at every level.
• Maintaining calibration and NDT records, LOLER register, and technical documentation.
• Preparing monthly performance and supplier HSEQ reports.
• Deputising for the HSEQ Coordinator when needed.
