The Opportunity We are seeking a highly motivated Project Quality Engineer to join a Utilities project in Three Springs. In this role, you will be responsible for establishing, managing, and maintaining the project’s quality systems to ensure compliance across all construction, subcontractor, and procurement activities. This is an excellent opportunity for a quality professional who thrives in a fast-paced project environment and is passionate about driving continuous improvement. This is on a 2:1 DIDO roster out of Perth. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Management System Manage and oversee Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), including reporting, investigation, and close-out Conduct training and inductions on quality systems for project teams Support and lead internal audits, ensuring timely resolution of findings Review subcontractor documentation to ensure compliance with project quality requirements Participate in site inspections and testing activities in line with Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) Contribute to monthly quality reporting and management reviews About You You will be successful in this role if you have: Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) 5 years’ experience in multi-disciplinary projects 2 years experience in a site-based quality role Strong knowledge of engineering systems (mechanical or electrical) Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Why Join UGL?
