Primary Responsibilities: Work as part of cross functional, passionate agile project teams to ensure quality is driven into the heart of the development process from requirements definition through to delivery Design, develop, and support frameworks for our test infrastructure and providing automation expertise to our development teams Contribute toward predictable delivery of quality release Research, recommend and implement tools as needed with the goal of increasing automation Mentor team members on Automation frameworks Proactively bringing issues and problems to the attention of the team; generating, proposing and implementing innovative solutions to solve them Be meticulous about documentation and maintaining a robust log of all test cases and test results Ensure that all tests are executed and give regular feedback to the team lead on the status of quality Use appropriate measures and KPIs to validate and report on software quality Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so Required Qualifications: B. Tech./MCA/ M. Tech (16+ years of formal education) 3+ years of total experience with solid technical background and 3+ years of experience working in Java development OR QA automations Hands-on coding experience in Core Java, J2EE, spring ecosystem Experience working with the CI/CD and DevOps goal/initiatives Knowledge of Maven, Jenkins, GitHub, Docker, RabbitMQ, Openshift In-depth knowledge implementing test automation using either UFT, Selenium or SPOCK Solid working knowledge of TDD & BDD Thorough understanding of SDLC, specifically automated QA processes in Agile development environments Proficient working with relational databases such as MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, etc. Preferred Qualifications: Health care industry experience Knowledge of Spock At UnitedHealth Group, our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone.
