Job Summary: The Quality Engineer is responsible for supporting daily Quality System operations including oversight of the Quality Technician‘s and their daily functions. Supporting Quality Leadership with new product launches, with a customer facing approach. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the integrity of the Quality System. Key Responsibilities: Leading or participating in the corrective actions process. Supporting or performing Receiving and Final Inspections. Facilitating the calibration of Quality and R&D Lab equipment. Performing Internal Audits per schedule and direction. Follow to closure. Contributing to the generation of standard work instructions and training others. Understanding inspection devices and teaching others to be effective with their use. Leading or supporting the completion of customer assessments. On-site support at the customer if required. Follow all company safety policies, mandatory PPE requirements, and operational guidelines. Participate in 5S, Kaizen, and other continuous improvement initiatives. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications: Minimum of 5-10 years of hands-on Quality experience in a manufacturing environment. Certified Internal Auditor. Understanding of PFMEA’s and Control Plans. Ability to lead and train others on the team. Capable of Leading or supporting the Corrective Action process. Basic computer skills (ERP systems, Excel, data entry). Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and perform frequent standing, walking, and bending. Experience supporting manufacturing or industrial production workflows preferred. Exposure to 5S and continuous improvement practices is a plus. The work environment will be a mix of an office setting, manufacturing floor, and active construction site. Noise level: Normal warehouse, manufacturing and construction noises.
