Banbridge, Co. Down
Monday to Friday (early Friday finish) | 40.5 hrs/week

A large, well-established manufacturing company in Banbridge is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join their growing Quality Control team. This is a key role within a business known for delivering complex, high-specification products across the UK and Europe.
As a Quality Engineer, you’ll be responsible for overseeing calibration schedules, managing nonconformities, and supporting continuous improvement across manufacturing processes.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Manage and maintain calibration schedules to ensure compliance and traceability
  • Lead investigations into internal and external nonconformities, supporting root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including calibration records and investigation reports
  • Support quality training and promote a strong quality-focused culture across the site
  • Prepare and present reports on key quality metrics to senior management
  • Ensure compliance with internal management systems and relevant industry standards

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a quality engineering role within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with calibration processes and nonconformity investigations
  • Knowledge of ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 etc.)
  • Exposure to quality methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, etc.
  • Experience working with quality management systems (QMS)
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work across departments
  • ISO Lead Auditor certification is highly desirable

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Degree in Quality, Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
