Role Summary: The Quality Engineer is responsible for product and process engineering for VELUX US Division, covering Greenwood, SC, Wells, ME, and Sparks, NV facilities. The Quality Engineer will report directly to the US Division QHSE&E Director. Key Responsibilities: General Participate in Global and Local networks as assigned to ensure alignment between all layers of the organization. Perform root cause analysis to eliminate failures within assigned products and processes. Lead FMEA creation, updates, and dissemination. Review product and process performance data. Owns the dynamic sampling plans for products and processes. Leads the CAPA program. Supports supplier quality activities. Data Analysis & Reporting Collect and analyze quality data using statistical tools (SPC, Cpk, etc.). Generate routine reports for distribution to Global and Local stakeholders. Provide actionable insights based on quality performance metrics. Continuous Improvement Support Lean, Six Sigma, or other improvement initiatives. Participate in cross-functional teams to enhance product quality and reduce defects. Monthly Salary Range: $6567 - $8209 Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required, preferably industrial or mechanical engineering. 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment required. 5 years of experience as a quality engineer is required. Certified Quality Engineer preferred. Experience with quality systems, audits, and compliance standards. Expert in the use of quality tools (FMEA, PPAP, Control Plans, SPC). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Must possess effective communication skills, both oral and written. Must possess a high degree of personal integrity and attention to detail. The desire and ability to work in a manufacturing team environment and collaborate with employees from various levels within the organization. Ability to perform the essential functions assigned to the position.
