JOB SUMMARY:

The Quality Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality systems and standards to ensure products meet customer specifications, regulatory requirements, and internal standards. This role will support production, manage quality documentation, lead problem-solving activities, and collaborate with other individuals within our quality and management teams to build and improve our current processes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or quality assurance role.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 or other relevant standards.
  • Competence in AIAG protocols and processes
  • Experience with quality tools such as SPC, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, and Six Sigma.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality data analysis software.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on quality performance and trends.
  • Develop and maintain APQP processes and procedures within ERP system
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for non-conformances.
  • Maintain and improve Quality Management System (QMS) documentation.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure product compliance.
  • Assist in the development of control plans, FMEAs, and PPAP submissions.
  • Train and support production staff on quality standards and procedures.
