POSITION SUMMARY:

As our Quality Engineer specializing in programming, you will be responsible for product quality verification! Winchester Hermetics is a unique design and manufacturing company that works with cutting-edge technology for the most demanding high-cost-of-failure applications. We support the World’s leading Tech companies in a variety of markets using our “GSD” attitude while still having fun.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

• CMM programming will include Zeiss Calypso software and a strong understanding of GD&T standards (Certifications preferred)
• BS degree required and 3-5 years of quality experience
• Analytical thinker with demonstrated technical ability to perform root cause analysis, prepare and implement action plans, lead improvement initiatives, and interface with customer’s technical resources
• Work with drawings, specifications, inspection, and department procedures
• Operate and maintain mechanical inspection equipment such as micrometers, pin gages, OGP, and simple electrical and hermeticity testing equipment
• Effective use of microscope (10-40x) for inspection of workmanship defects
• Document and maintain inspection records
