Job Details Job Location: Wabash Castings - Wabash, IN 46992 Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $67,637.00 - $101,497.00 Salary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our growing manufacturing team. This role is critical in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. Customer liaison for quality related topics. Supplier quality liaison for quality related topics. Support CI (Continuous Improvement), CAR (Corrective Actions) and QMS (Quality Management System) improvements. Perform quality and process product audits. Analyze product data. Train Team on systems, standards and tools. Supports TS16949 and ISO14001 initiatives. And, any additional duties that may be assigned by Management. Qualifications JOB REQUIREMENTS: Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Excellent ability communication skills both written and verbal. Excellent computer skills; and, record keeping skills. Ability to read and follow work instructions. Ability to maintain and provide current understanding of industry best practices and technology trends. Ability to lead projects to create a collaborative working environment; and, ability to provide leadership in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Ability to make decisions, results driven and strong follow through skills. Ability to train others to quality issues as they arise. Ability to pay close attention to details; good analytical problem solving ability. Ability to deal comfortably with all levels within the organization; ability to contribute in a cross functional collaborative environment. EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: BS Degree in business, management or other related discipline. At least 3 years progressive experience in Quality. Preferably automotive environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Normal work environment - office, factory and store room with minimal exposure to noise, odors, dust and drafts. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; balance and stoop; and push pull, transfer, move, lift up to 25 lbs and occasionally 35 lbs. The employee must regularly stand; walk and reach with hands and arms.
