Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality of our CNC machined components using traditional methods along with our CMM, so programming competency is essential (Inspect 3D PRO – training on use of the software will be available).

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in quality engineering or a related field, preferably within manufacturing.
  • Must be capable of operating and programming a CMM inspection machine (Inspect 3D PRO).
  • Must be fully conversant with engineering drawings and designs
  • Ability to generate ISIR, and PPAP reports and documents.
  • Fully conversant with 8D.
  • Able to generate Process and Operator instructions.
  • Jig and fixture R&R.
  • In process checks of CNC produced components.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Effective communication skills to work collaboratively across teams.

    The role is full time, permanent, Monday-Friday only (hours are negotiable for the right candidate).

  • Analyse data from quality reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues effectively.
  • Deal with customers directly with any quality concerns.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of quality control procedures and results.
  • Utilise CMM capabilities to include automated programs for precise dimensional reporting over our night and weekend shifts.
