Job title: Quality Engineering Assurance Lead

Salary: Up to £43,000 (dependent on skills and experience)

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:

• HNC or Degree qualified in an appropriate technical discipline or equivalent Quality experience
• Quality professional, lead auditor status or equivalent experience working to standards ISO9001 or AS9100
• The ability to interpret specifications, procedures and contract requirements
• Effective action management and verification
• Effective stakeholder management (including with the customer)

• Works as a fully contributory member of the Quality Assurance team, undertaking specialist non-routine and/or complex Quality Assurance activities and tasks in their related area
• Able to access, have a clear understanding of and develop the local Management System documentation e.g. policies, procedures, workmanship standards, risk assessments and processes in their related area
• Lead and support internal audits, including management of non-conformance resolution and corrective actions with key stakeholders and process owners
• Lead and support the facilitation of working groups ensuring deliverables are achieved and Learning from Experience (LfE) is captured and applied
• Drive and support requirements relating to certification activities
• The ability to articulate and deliver Quality objectives
• Represent the department at Quality and cross-functional reviews and liaise with the customer when required
• Responsible for providing supervision to Early Careers on rotation through Quality roles
