  Our client is part of a multi-billion dollar product portfolio focused on the development, design, and manufacturing of specialty engineered products in a variety of industries. They are seeking a Quality Engineering Manager to lead the sites quality programs to ensure there is a process prevent defects for the sustaining engineering and new product development groups.

Required Education/Experience:

• BS in Manufacturing Technology or Engineering with minimum of 10 years of experience supporting a certified ISO9001 quality program in a relevant industrial engineered product environment
• 5+ years of leadership experience where responsibility included supplier oversight/approvals, continuous improvement, CAPA’s, and implementing critical action
• Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and control (DMAIC) statistical analysis applications to determine necessary action to resolve current issues
• Consult leadership on potential financial impacts on any current or proposed change orders
• Interface with customers, suppliers, and program stakeholders to address quality related issues
• Define, develop, and implement quality department culture, professional development standards, and departmental goals

Preferred Education/Experience:

• BS in Engineering with 5+ years progressing through either manufacturing or product development prior to reaching quality
• Proven ability to take over previous team, make hiring recommendations, and establish core quality assurance processes that are sustainable
• Experience identifying quality trends and developing problem resolutions
• Develops methods of improving utilization of equipment, personnel, material, and facility layout
