Description:
As a Quality Engineering Intern, you will support the quality team to ensure best practices are followed in product and process design. You will help ensure that manufacturing and assembly processes meet performance and customer requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in quality management for application programs.
- Support in creating and maintaining D/PFMEA and control plans.
- Help with the PPAP process.
- Ensure company processes and standards are followed.
- Gather and communicate customer quality requirements to the team.
- Participate in local APQP 8D problem-solving activities.
- Promote continuous improvement in quality processes.
- Monitor program KPIs and assist in taking necessary actions.
- Support audits and develop corrective actions with the team.
- Communicate quality issues and updates to the team and customers.
Education, Skills, Knowledge Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- Basic knowledge of APQP processes.
- Familiarity with Six Sigma and Lean methodologies is a plus.
- Understanding of mechanical measurement techniques (e.g., CMM, gauges).
- Experience with quality tools like 8-D, 5 Whys is a plus.
- Proficiency in English.
