  POSITION SUMMARY The objective of this position is to support the Value Stream with a matrix aligment to the Quality Department in Quality Control and Quality Assurance activities. Work within the company’s Integrated Management System as it pertains to  Quality and Safety System context, in accordance with its procedures and requirements. Essential Functions 1. Performs other work-related duties as assigned. 1. Certificate of Test 2. Calibration System Administrative Duties 3. Furnace Verification 4. Out of Flow (OOF)/Straggler tracking and weekly reporting to include updating production quality metrics. eNMS tickets/tracking/information 5. NCR tracking/information 6. Learn additional inspection techniques as they are developed during New Production Introduction.   7. Develop, perform data gathering on quality characteristics as the need arises (e.g. eNMS Photos photography, dimensional measurements, Keyence 3D Scans) 2. Ability to become a CCL certified lab technician, CMM proficiency and Blue light operator to support lab processing activities (i.e., monthly part samples) 3. Participate in Root Cause Corrective Action activities to permanently eliminate defects.  Utilize Tops 8D and DMAIC approach to problem solving and non-conformances. 4. Utilize Lean and Six Sigma methods to improve Key Performance Indicators for Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost. (SQDC) 5. Statistical process control (SPC) and Statisical quality control (SQC) analysis and actions to improve quality, consistency and process cycle time.  6. Participate in Kaizen events, promote positive employee environment, and community involvement. 1. Control powder/materials release to production for assigned value stream.  2. Assist in engineering evaluations, trials, gage R&R, testing and analysis.  3. Assist Process Engineer/Quality Engineer in varied facets of NPI and continual improvement aspects of the Value Stream processes.  4. Perform IMS internal audits, layered process audits (LPA) and assist during Customer/3rd party audits.   11. Willing to work flexible shifts and weekends if necessary. 1. Performs other duties as assigned   Supervisory Responsibility None     Work Environment This job operates in both an office environment and a manufacturing environment.  The role routinely uses standard office equipment, such as computes, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.  The individual will be required to adhere to safety policies and procedures on the manufacturing floor. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 lbs and occasionally lift and or move up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.  Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday 8am to 430pm, with additional hours as business needs necessitate. Travel Limited to no travel is required for this position.   EDUCATION 1. High school diploma or equivalent is required. 2.
