Job Summary:  Develop, implement and coordinate product assurance program to prevent or eliminate defects in new or existing products. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: * Read and interpret engineering drawings, delivery documents and supplier’s material certification and cross relate them to company standards. * Monitors production quality on manufacturing floor to see a reduction in repetitive rejections.  * Responsible for maintenance of Customer Complaint Log and coordination of Non-conformance Corrective Actions. * Reviews quality records for legibility, completeness, and accuracy to ensure compliance to requirements. * Assist in analyzing and resolving issues with scrap and other manufacturing issues. * Work with manufacturing when process changes occur to assure Quality requirements are maintained. * Supports in-process, final process and product audits. Essential Qualifications: * BS in Engineering with an emphasis in Quality Assurance, or related experience in Quality Assurance is required.  * High mechanical aptitude * Good statistical analysis skills * Strong interpersonal and communication skills; be a team player; and have the ability to develop a team atmosphere.  Must be able to communicate with all levels of staff. * Good written and verbal skills * Multi-task abilities, organized, excellent time management skills * Able to work with minimal supervision * Working knowledge of ISO, validation (IQ, OQ, PQ), regulatory and quality standards.
