EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledgeofpatientcarestandardsandpracticesis normallyacquiredthroughcompletionofa nursing program. Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
  • SuccessfulcompletionofHealthCareQualityCertificationexam(CPHQ)andadditionaleducationin TQM, CQI, productivity management and basic statistics beneficial.
  • A minimum of three years’ acute care hospital experience.
  • Experienceindatacollectionmethodologies,dataanalysisanddisplay,anddemonstratedabilityto plan, organize, set, and accomplish objectives necessary to enhance and develop skills.
  • Demonstratedabilityindevelopmentandimplementationofa clinical study, experience in program design and educational presentations, and experience as a practitioner in the field of healthcare quality management, quality assurance, medical reviews and chart abstracting beneficial.
  • Possessesan active Wisconsin RN nursing license.
  • Possessesworking knowledge and application of Performance Improvement philosophy and tools, Joint Commission standards and Peer Review Process.
  • Possessesa broad knowledge of medical and nursing patient care management and medical record management.
  • Demonstratedunderstandingofpersonalcomputersandinformationsystems,applications,andinterfaces.

Aspirus Howard Young Medical Center in Woodruff, WI is seeking a Quality Improvement Coordinator to join our team!
The Quality Improvement Coordinator for the Aspirus Medical Group provides leadership, guidance and resources to hospital and medical staff in the design, implementation, and evaluation of continuous quality improvement activities organization wide. Ensures organizational compliance with JC (Joint Commission) standards and other regulatory (CMS, State of WI) and third-party payer requirements.
Supports Medical Staff with performance improvement activities including but not limited to professional practice monitoring, peer review, clinical practice change based on best practice and registry outcomes.
HOURS:Full-time or 1.0 FTE, 80 hours every pay period. Day shift. Typical work schedule: Monday – Friday 7:30am – 4:00pm
