EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 3-5 years of quality clincial experience.

EDUCATION:

Bachelors degree or advanced degree; or equivalent experience, required.

REQUIRED SKILLS OR ABILITIES*

  • Maintain documentation of quality activities
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement
  • Strong knowledge of quality improvement methodologies, such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Plan-Do-Study-Act (PDSA) cycles.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
  • Basic understanding of health clinic processes and operations is required. Understanding of FQHC processes and operations preferred
  • Duties, functions and responsibilities:
  • Ensures compliance with governmental, regulatory, and accreditation standards at each group practice facility, e.g. TJC, NCQA, AHCA, OSHA, CMS, CLIA, etc.
  • Helps ensure application of the same standard of care across the group practices and the organization, i.e., the Infection Control, Laboratory, and Risk Management Departments.
  • Monitors compliance with personnel licensing and credentialing re Practice Coordination
  • Works with group practice managers, clinical staff coordinators, and/or director to ensure competent staff by providing education and training for clinical staff.
  • Assists with development of orientation programs.
  • Helps provide orientation and ongoing education.
  • Assists with evaluation of clinical staff, as needed.
  • Helps develop and administer TMHPP policies and procedures
  • Maintains and assists Manager in updating Policy &Protocol manuals and competencies.
  • Helps with documentation, tracking and trending of patient complaints.
  • Assists practice managers with ensuring HMO, NCQA and QPP measures such as HEDIS and MIPs, are met and are implemented across all patient populations.
