QUALIFICATIONS YOU MUST HAVE:

• Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline.
• Must be a U.S. citizen

QUALIFICATIONS WE PREFER:

• Experience with micrometers, thread and ring gage, height gage, calipers
• SAP experience
• First Article Inspection Report knowledge

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Inspects a variety of arriving parts using measuring/inspection instruments (e.g. micrometers, thread and ring gage, height gage, calipers) with proper inspection techniques.
• Reads, interprets and utilizes procedures, test requirements, drawings and other documentation.
• Performs receiving inspection approval of components and assemblies.
• Utilizes SAP to record inspection results.
• Verifies all work order documentation, CofCs, Material Certs, vendor documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Administers visual and physical inspections of units and subassemblies.
• Raises notifications of non-conformance and quarantines non-conforming product.
• Responsible for reviewing vendor submitted First Article Inspection Reports.
• Performs administrative tasks associated with files management.
