Description This is good: Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform Start-Up inspection, In-process inspection, final audit, and dock audit. Communicate quality issues to leads, technicians, managers, and Quality Team. Has authority to put on HOLD any non-conforming products by issuing DMR system or stop production if necessary to correct quality problems. Backtracking experience is a plus. Perform receiving inspection/ incoming audit. Recording scrap parts to the production floor. Work in conjunction with the Quality Manager to support operation of Certified Management Systems (ISO9001, ISO14001, IATF16949, FSSC Food Safety). Back-up to other inspectors’ shifts, as needed. Understand, speak, read, and write in English is a must; intermediate Spanish is preferred. Support document control and QMS. Will be required to use hand tools, including micrometers, calipers, height gauge, etc. as well as able to run programs for CMM, Keyence, and Micro-Vu. Understanding of Microsoft Office. Required scheduled hours: 10:45PM-7AM Sunday-Thursday with occasional weekends for overtime. Punctuality, integrity, willingness to learn, and teamwork are all ideal characteristics. Other duties as assigned by management. Education/Experience High school diploma or equivalency required. Blueprint reading and GD&T skills are preferred. Quality Inspection experience in injection molding environment is preferred. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job description. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is commonly required to stand, walk or sit for long intervals. Will be required to spend extended periods of time in the production area or warehouse.
