Description

Our client, a leading provider of muck circuit material handling solutions, is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join their team.
With a strong presence in the mining industry, our client innovation-driven company, leading the way by integrating advanced technologies to solve complex material movement challenges through safe, efficient, and cost-effective solutions.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Quality Inspector will play a key role in overseeing quality assurance across internal processes and global supply chain operations. The successful candidate will bring hands-on experience in welding inspections, Inspection and Test Plans, and a solid understanding of ISO 9001 standards and Quality Management Systems (QMS).

REQUIREMENTS

· Minimum 3–5 years of experience in quality inspection within manufacturing or fabrication.
· College diploma or university degree in a related field.
· Strong background in welding inspection; familiarity with CWB, ASME, AWS standards.
· Experience with supplier quality surveillance and global supply chains.
· Knowledge of ISO 9001 and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
· Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
· Proficiency with quality inspection tools and related software is a plus.

Responsibilities

· Conduct quality inspections of materials, components, and welded assemblies.
· Review and implement Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) across projects.
· Ensure compliance with CWB, ASME, AWS, and other relevant industry codes.
· Conduct supplier site visits and quality surveillance audits.
· Evaluate and qualify suppliers based on quality performance.
· Document and resolve welding defects; recommend and verify corrective actions.
· Generate comprehensive inspection reports and maintain accurate quality documentation.
· Lead the investigation and documentation of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
· Support root cause analyses and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs).
· Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, engineering, and production teams.
· Maintain ISO 9001 compliance and manage internal QMS documentation.
· Conduct training sessions on quality processes and best practices
