Job description: Overview MUST HAVE PREVIOUS INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE Join our dynamic quality assurance team as a Quality Inspector / Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) Operator, where your expertise will drive precision and excellence in manufacturing processes. In this role, you will utilize advanced measurement tools and systems to ensure products meet stringent quality standards, comply with industry regulations, and uphold our commitment to superior craftsmanship. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will be vital in maintaining the integrity of our quality systems and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Job Summary: The Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting incoming, in process, and finished product. Duties and Responsibilities:  Assist in maintaining and supporting ISO-9001 practices  Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of machined parts and welded assemblies using tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gages and coordinate measuring machines (CMMs)  Verify conformance to engineering drawings, blueprints, and tolerances, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) requirements.  Document inspection results, identify non-conformances, and initiate quarantine procedures for defective items while notifying relevant teams.  Support FAI and internal inspection requirements.  Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve issues, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.  SPC and internal data entry utilizing Microsoft 365 and supplier portals.  Communicates NC findings to appropriate personnel.  Performs other duties as required or assigned.  Education: High school diploma or technical certification preferred.  Experience: 2+ years of experience in dimensional inspection or quality control in a precision machining or manufacturing environment  Proficiency with precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, height gages, bore gages, optical comparators and reading technical drawings/blueprints.  Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.  to work independently or in a team.  Experience in a manufacturing or production environment  Familiarity with non-conformance reporting (NCR) Preferred Skills:  Experience working in quality management systems (QMS) ISO 9001environment  Experience with CMM programming (e.g., CMM Manager) or automated inspection systems  Knowledge of GD&T and the ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications  Experience performing and documenting First Article Inspections (FAIs) preferred  Exposure to SPC or data collection systems  Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office Benefits: * 401(k) * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Health savings account * Life insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Experience: * Manufacturing: 1 year (Required) * Quality control: 1 year (Required) Work Location: In person 7 AM to 3:30 PM
