Responsibilities

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

To ensure compliance with Quality and Environmental standards by maintaining applicable National, International, and Customer-specific requirements.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Interpret and understand inspection requirements as defined in quality documentation.
  • Comprehend and apply testing procedures in accordance with internal protocols.
  • Work to detailed customer specifications outlined in engineering documents and drawings.
  • Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) and complete associated documentation accurately.
  • Understand build card requirements as defined in internal documentation.
  • Raise deviations in line with internal processes, correctly identifying root causes using appropriate codes.
  • Test control panels in accordance with defined test documents and relevant Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) regulations.
  • Verify new loom foils against drawing specifications.
  • Operate continuity and insulation resistance testers (e.g., Megger machines) safely and effectively.
  • Ensure competent and safe use of all testing equipment.
  • Guarantee all assemblies are free from Foreign Object Debris (FOD) and properly capped for delivery.
  • Operate AUTOMEG and DITMCO machines as required.

BUSINESS RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Follow all relevant Work Instructions as outlined in the Quality Systems Manual to support continuous improvement and product integrity.
