What You’ll Be Doing: Conduct detailed inspections using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, CMMs). Interpret design drawings & specifications to ensure compliance with quality standards. Perform raw material inspections and verify conformance. Inspect first-piece and in-process production to maintain high-quality standards. Approve finished products by confirming specifications, performing visual & measurement tests, and ensuring rework is completed correctly. Document inspection results accurately in reports and logs. Collaborate with production teams to address non-conformances and recommend corrective actions. Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 & AS9100 standards (FAIRS knowledge a plus). Assist with mechanical gauge calibration (experience a plus). Other duties as assigned by management #ZR Requirements What We’re Looking For: Preferred Experience in quality inspection within metal fabrication, machining, or related manufacturing industries. Basic understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) and ability to read technical drawings. Ability to use precision hand tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.). Familiarity with CMMs (a plus). Strong attention to detail & problem-solving skills with a sense of urgency. Ability to work independently & in a team-oriented environment with minimal supervision. Adaptability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Accountability and ownership of work and inspection results. Open-minded attitude with a willingness to learn, grow, and continuously improve. Physical Requirements: Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
