Job Summary If you are looking for a Quality Inspector role, Emerson has a great opportunity for you! Based in our Singapore location, this role will handle inspections and testing of received parts. In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Perform inspection on physical, mechanical and/or electrical properties of received parts or sub-assemblies according to the defined criteria and collection plan. Monitor and report the results of the inspections and testing. Assist in the reporting and monitoring on non-conforming material. Manage and maintain all quality documents and records. Assist in the construction and/or revision inspection procedures, work instructions and checklists. Monitor and coordinate calibration of all measuring equipment, fixtures and critical operation equipment and instrumentation. Assist in other tasks as assigned by the superior. Ensures all activities are carried out safely complying with Environment Health & Safety (EHS) guidelines and procedures. Proficient in regular measurement instruments. Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and knowledge on Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance (GD&T). Demonstrate knowledge in material certification, sampling plan, non-conformance handling process. Possess good interpersonal and strong communication skills. Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: NITEC/Higher NITEC in Mechanical/Electrical with at least 2 to 5 years of work experience in inspection environment is preferred.
