JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. This position requires a strong understanding of quality assurance processes. The Quality Assurance Inspector will work closely with production teams to maintain compliance with industry regulations and internal protocols.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in a quality assurance role within a manufacturing or engineering environment is desirable
  • Knowledge of working with different grades of metal
  • Some experience of reading technical drawings
  • Knowledge of using a range of measuring equipment such as verniers etc. and maintaining records.
  • Assists with the implementation of corrective actions and writing reports for non-conformities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey findings clearly.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct first off inspections of parts at various stages of the production process to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Analyse inspection data and prepare detailed reports on findings, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Complete Full Article Inspection Reports when required.
  • Collaborate with production staff to address quality issues and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Allocate material and parts during the production process and maintain all relevant documentation.
  • To interpret engineering drawings and written criteria, applying the requirements to verify product using various types of measuring equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and other quality assurance activities.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and policies.
  • Goods inward inspection
  • Maintain calibration equipment and keep detailed logs.
