Job Title: Inspector
Location: Darwen
Job Type: Permanent, 37 hours per week, working a 4-day week over a 5-day operational week. With the potential to work 1:30pm until 10:00pm with supplement percentage.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience as a Quality Inspector within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of technical drawings and tolerances
• Skilled in using manual measuring equipment and CMM operation/programming
• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills

• Examine drawings, engineering instructions, and technical documents to ensure manufactured items match design intent
• Generate comprehensive inspection reports with findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
• Conduct visual and dimensional checks to confirm parts meet all tolerance and finish specifications.
• Maintain and calibrate inspection equipment in line with internal procedures.
• Collaborate in investigations to reduce defects and support continuous improvement efforts
• Carry out precision inspections using instruments such as micrometers, gauges, calipers etc.
