Description Quality Inspector– Hartung Glass Industries (Pheonix, AZ) Do you have an eye for detail and take pride in catching what others might miss? At Hartung, our Quality Control team makes sure every piece of glass meets the highest standards before it reaches our customers. If you like accuracy, consistency, and knowing your work makes a direct impact, this is the role for you. Key Responsibilities: Inspect glass and materials for accuracy, quality, and finish Verify work orders match product specifications before release Document and report quality issues, defects, or inconsistencies On-call readiness to support customer follow up needs Know order location, anticipated delivery time and report back to customer timely Support will-call operations, ensuring customer orders are complete and correct Perform accurate measurements with tape measures and other tools Communicate with supervisors and fabrication teams to resolve issues quickly Follow safety rules and maintain a clean, organized work area Assist with warehouse and fabrication processes as needed Maintain consistent and reliable attendance Requirements Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and learn quickly Proven experience in quality inspection, preferably in manufacturing or production environments Consistent two or more years of quality control, glass, or fabrication experience preferred Ability to read and comprehend work orders written in English Basic computer skills for data entry and report generation Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and excellent observational skills Positive communication with customers, supervisors and peers Punctual, detail-oriented, and reliable Fluency in English required Bilingual a plus Physical Requirements Must be physically capable of lifting 50 lbs.
