Responsibilities Perform incoming, first sample, in-process, and final quality control material inspections and verification of CoA on production material. Make pass/fail decisions on inspected goods. Inspect purchased parts and materials for conformity to standards, specifications, and processing requirements. Verify specifications using purchase orders, blueprints, drawings or inspection instructions, and checklists. Inspect for proper identity and dimensions using such measuring devices as micrometers, gauges, and calipers and CMM with software. Visually inspect for defects or damage per quality control documents. Participate in Nonconformance investigations and corrective actions. Work closely with operations, engineering, or supplier personnel to define/communicate any defects found. Perform in process quality inspections and testing per defined sample plan. Gather, prepare and ship finished goods to internal or 3rd party laboratories for testing. Support quality alert process for internal and external customer complaints, quality issues, and escalated incidents; execute containment, corrective, and preventative actions; provide onsite quality support in the case of emergency quality events or recalls. Maintain and update QA documentation, testing records/results. Participate in quality and product development related trials, assist improvement projects, or other various duties as assigned by leadership. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $17.00/hr - $24.00/hr + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualifications US citizenship High school diploma/GED Good communication and interpersonal skills Understanding of raw materials and the manufacturing or warehousing industry Must have excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently Customer focused, team player, excellent interpersonal and leadership skills Analytical, logical thought process and meticulous attention to detail Ability to use computers for collecting and logging data; familiar with Microsoft Office productivity software (Excel, Word at a minimum) Must be able to successfully pass various background screening requirements including criminal history, education, credit, and drug screen as well as obtain any required program specific credentials and certifications. Required Experience Direct experience in manufacturing or warehouse quality and/or receiving inspection Knowledge of inspection and quality control methods, techniques, and equipment Knowledge of use of a wide variety of measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and optical measuring equipment strongly desired Ability to read and understand engineering drawings for machined parts strongly desired Knowledge of industry Quality Management System standards or ISO 9001
