Description Key Job Responsibilities: - Complete incoming, in-process or final inspection against specifications and/or drawings for defects. - Use of inspection equipment such as dial calipers, pin gauges, wall gauges, laser measuring devices. - Record inspection details and information for all inspections. Record and document when products are defective or in question. - Follow good documentation practices. - Identification and traceability of products. - Notify the appropriate personnel that product is suspect and needs to be reviewed by management. - Submit Suspect Material (non-conforming) Reports and supporting documentation. - Contain and quarantine rejected materials and track information via computer - Determine the proper sample size needed to conduct an inspection. - Storage and retention of production and inspection records. - Communicate quality concerns and improvement ideas. - Work within and support cleanroom environments as needed. - Inspect raw materials Requirements Education, Skills, and Experience Requirements: - High school diploma or general education degree (GED) - 1-3 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. - ASQ certifications are a plus - Experience in quality control inspection in a manufacturing environment highly desired - Experience with advanced or complex measurement equipment a plus - Maintain a positive, constructive attitude in a fast-paced environment with strong written and verbal communication skills - Strong analytical skills required along with a strong comfort level in working with measurements in imperial and metric units, familiarity with fractions and decimals. - High degree of reliability, accuracy, and integrity.
