HRA, EAP, Simple IRA with 100% company match up to 3%. Paid vacation, PTO, sick time and holidays. JOB SUMMARY Efficiently assess incoming products at their assigned stage of production. This can occur when unpacking shipments from vendors, sorting products in assembly or preparing finished products for out shipments. Ensure ISO quality standards are consistently met by upholding ISO standards and removing faulty items from the production line and reporting them to management to prevent sending poor quality items to the customer. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Apply and uphold ISO standards to ensure quality and safety standards. Monitoring manufacturing operations and ensuring they run smoothly. Read blueprints and specifications to ensure that operations meet production standards. Recommending any necessary adjustments and changes to production processes based on inspection findings. Remove products that do not meet production standards and recommend solutions to improve product quality. Ability to use measuring devices and equipment. Accepting or rejecting finished production line work through standards. Perform inspections at random to assess product quality. Qualifications JOB QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma; some college or post-secondary certificate preferred. Attention to detail and through in completing work tasks. Some computer skills required. Ability to develop one’s own way of doing things around the ISO requirements and guiding oneself with little supervision to get things done. Thorough understanding of Quality Control standards and testing techniques. Keen eye for details, thoroughness, and accuracy while performing a task. Problem solving mentality with a results driven approach. Ability to work well with others, provide constructive feedback through appropriate communication skills. WORK ENVIRONMENT Work in a manufacturing environment Work with sheet metal, coils and other parts requiring use of hand tools Work with other employees, vendors, and client requests
