THE OPPORTUNITY

Altrad is currently in search of an experienced Quality Inspector - Insulation, to become a vital part of our team at a prominent Construction Project situated in Kitimat, BC. This role entails a 14:7 or 20:8 roster (depending on the point of hire), working 10 hours per day. Flights and accommodation will be provided for non-local candidates on a Full-Time/Fixed-Term Contract basis. As the Quality Inspector - Insulation, you will be responsible for ensuring sheet metal and insulation works, as applicable, are completed within the project’s approved procedures. To be successful in this role, you should have sound knowledge of Quality legislation, industry and best-practice standards and their relevance to the project.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • ICorr certified.
  • At least 5 years relevant industry experience including 2 years QA/QC experience.
  • Knowledge and expertise of Quality inspection practices, standards, systems and processes relevant to the operations of the project.
  • Sound knowledge of Quality legislation, industry and best-practice standards and their relevance to the project.
  • Previous experience in working large scale industrial projects is essential.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working within a multi-cultural workforce is preferred.
  • Relevant experience in an industrial services organisation as well as LNG site experience.
