Work Hours: 12-hour shifts (5 PM – 5 AM). The schedule is 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on. The schedule alternates weekly. Location: 1145 Conwell Avenue, Willard, OH 44890 Position Summary The Quality Inspector 1 is responsible for conducting visual inspections of printed materials and other products to ensure compliance with established specifications and quality standards. The inspector follows documented procedures and work instructions, records inspection results accurately, and communicates any deviations or defects promptly. The role supports the manufacturing process by identifying and reporting defects, helping maintain product quality, and ensuring customer satisfaction. As a Quality Inspector 1, you will: Perform detailed visual inspections of printed materials and finished products to identify defects, deviations, or non-conformance to specifications. Follow established quality procedures, work instructions, and inspection criteria during all inspection activities. Record inspection results accurately and maintain inspection documentation in accordance with company policies. Notify supervisors or quality management of any defects or quality issues detected during inspection. Assist in the disposition of suspect or defective materials, including segregating, labeling, or quarantining non-conforming products. Support continuous improvement efforts by providing feedback on inspection processes and product quality. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with safety standards. Communicate effectively with team members and other departments regarding quality issues. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. (Associate’s degree, technical school, or junior college coursework in related fields preferred.) Minimum of one year of experience in manufacturing or inspection environment preferred. Strong attention to detail with good visual acuity. Ability to read, interpret, and follow work instructions, safety rules, and technical drawings. Effective written communication skills, including proper punctuation, spelling, and grammar. Basic proficiency with computers for recording and documenting inspection results. Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. Ability to accurately identify and report defects and discrepancies.
