Job Details Level: Experienced Job Location: Memphis, TN 38106 Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $19.00 - $21.00 Hourly Job Shift: Any Ensures that our internal team and the supply chain companies continually develop their process in line with the customers’ requirements and needs. This includes on-going supply chain company verification. As a quality inspector, you will inspect raw materials, components, and finished products to ensure conformance to specification. Duties/Key Responsibilities: Assure the inspection is performed in accordance with the customer’s blue print and other applicable regulations and guidelines. Follow written instructions with engineering-based content. Train in inspection techniques, products, and equipment. Apply attention to detail for customer product features. Interface with peers, engineers, and regulatory auditors. Accurately record inspection results to ensure proper segregation and rejected products. Problem-solving skills. Contribute to continuous improvements activities. Perform and assist first off sample approvals. Help with training of quality awareness. Qualifications Skills & Attributes: Lean Manufacturing knowledge Knowledge of measurement techniques Understanding and interpretation of engineering drawings Understanding manufacturing processes Ability to work in a diverse and dynamic environment. Planning and prioritizing activities Good communication and interpersonal skills Good listening skills Ability to present data effectively. Good problem-solving skill Understanding of cost and financial impacts Qualifications and Experience Levels: Substantial experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment. Experience in working in Quality Assurance. Lean skills. Degree a plus but not necessary
