Then the Quality Inspector position could be the role you are looking for!!
In this role you will provide Quality Assurance Support to Oldham Seals Ltd and their range of rubber engineered products. The company specialises in designing and manufacturing of rubber pipe systems and related products to a worldwide market. The company is approved to BS EN ISO 9001:2015
Working in a small team environment to develop and implement best practices that emphasise defect prevention, reduction in variation and waste to promote opportunities for improvement, product quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • To carry out mechanical inspection of individually manufactured product and supplied goods, manufactured components, and finished products
  • Carrying out dimensional and visual inspection for First off and Final inspections
  • Use of measuring equipment including hand tools
  • Maintenance of Inspection records
  • Assist with the support of quality plans (Mechanical Measurement and Quality Inspection Plans, Working Instructions, Test Doc, other as required)
  • Sign off operations and tasks deemed acceptable during the inspection process
  • Raise Non Conformance Reports (NCRs) and investigate non-conformances identified during inspection process
  • Understanding and interpretation of drawings
  • Day-to-day implementation of the Quality Management system to ISO 9001 and AQAP standards
  • Supporting the shopfloor with problem solving to resolve quality
  • Product compliance verification
  • Verification of change (ECR, 3C and interim process change)
  • Responsible for ensuring that projects requirements meet quality standards of our customers, Quality Management system compliance and applicable regulatory requirements
  • Monitoring for adherence to procedures and processes
  • Support improvement initiatives
  • Working closely with the Quality team and liaise with other department heads
  • Quality KPI/metric development & maintenance
  • Additional QA duties as required
    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
    Pay: From £13.50 per hour
    Expected hours: 40 per week
