Description

As a Quality Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring our products meet customer and regulatory requirements through detailed inspections and reporting. Key Responsibilities: * Perform dimensional and visual inspections on castings, machined metal, and plastic components * Interpret blueprints, GD&T, and 2D/3D design documentation * Conduct first article (FAIR), first piece, and in-process inspections * Use CMM equipment and precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, height gauges, fixtures) * Complete 100% inspection reports and nonconformance documentation * Program and operate CMMs for complex and repeat inspections * Analyze inspection data and ensure compliance with AS9102 and aerospace standards * Maintain accurate quality documentation and inspection records * Collaborate with engineering to develop inspection methods and strategies * Ensure all products meet customer and internal quality requirements ---------------------------------------- WHAT YOU BRING * High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree preferred) * Experience as a Quality Inspector, QC Technician, or QA Inspector * Strong knowledge of GD&T, blueprint reading, and inspection techniques * Experience with precision measuring tools and CMM operation * Familiarity with AS9102 FAIRs and aerospace quality standards (preferred) * Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills * Ability to work independently and in a team environment * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality systems ---------------------------------------- PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * 5–10 years of aerospace or manufacturing inspection experience * Experience as a DQR (Designated Quality Representative) * Background in machine shop environments * Knowledge of process improvement methodologies ---------------------------------------- WHY JOIN DRT AEROSPACE? * Work in a high-tech aerospace manufacturing environment * Be part of a team that values quality, precision, and innovation * Competitive pay and growth opportunities * Stable, long-term career in a high-demand industry ---------------------------------------- APPLY TODAY If you are a detail-driven Quality Inspector or QC Technician ready to take the next step in your career, we want to hear from you.
