JOB DESCRIPTION:

• The quality inspector shall support on-site to perform documentation, visual and dimensional inspections on manufactured parts, assemblies, and / or sub-assemblies.
• Validate all product and paperwork compliant to including but not limited to: engineering drawings, customer purchase order(s), industry standards, and specifications.
• Inspect Certificates of Conformance from material, external suppliers, and other service providers to ensure these items conform to customers purchase order requirements and specifications
• Perform a wide variety of conventional/traditional inspection operations utilizing various inspection techniques
• Report via operating systems for Customer and Verify while communicating any non-conformance while providing reject or rework disposition. Must be willing to utilize personal laptop to complete task.

CANDIDATE MUST POSSES AT LEAST 5 YEARS EXPERIENCE WITH:

• Inspection of tight tolerances
• Complex assemblies, Large Mill Turn Parts Hi Chelse
• Special Processes
• J-STD 001 Soldering inspections
• Experience performing First Article Inspections (FAIs) in accordance to the AS9102 standard and knowledge is required, including complete review of technical data package for full traceability of documents.
• EXperience with both mechanical and electronic inspections (PWB,PWA)
• Experience using various inspection tools such as micrometers and calipers.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Posses soft skills to clearly communicate non-conformances internally and externally
• Candidate should be computer savvy and MUST be willing to use personal laptop to complete inspection reporting via SPP (Supplier Performance Platform)
• Must be willing to utilize personal cell phone
• Must be willing to work in fast paced manufacturing environment and posses all PPE required per suppliers safety requirements.
• Must be able to stand, sit, kneel, maneuver
• Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs.
