Description The Quality Inspector is responsible for performing Receiving, First Piece, and In-Process Inspections to ensure materials and products meet customer blueprint requirements. This role plays a key part in maintaining acceptable quality levels throughout the manufacturing process and ensuring compliance with established standards. Requirements Job Requirements: · Perform Receiving, 1st Piece and In-Process Inspections for work in process. · Verify and document that materials are manufactured to customer-supplied blueprints · Use precision measuring equipment (Micrometers, calipers, height gauges, etc.) to perform mechanical inspections of metal parts. · Apply working knowledge of shop math, trigonometry, and Geometric Dimension and Tolerance (GD & T) in daily inspections. · Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation compliance with quality standards. · Support adherence to ISO 9001 quality system requirements · Prioritize and manage multiple tasks in fast-paced environment. Qualifications: · Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications. · Proficiency with precision measuring tools and inspection techniques · Strong understanding of shop math, trigonometry and GD&T. · Prior experience in an ISO 9001 quality system environment preferred · Computer literacy with working knowledge pf Microsoft Office · Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
