NOW HIRING: QUALITY INSPECTORS - AEROSPACE MANUFACTURING

Are you an experienced Quality Inspector looking to advance your career in a high-precision aerospace machine shop? Join a team committed to product integrity, process excellence, and safety in a fast-paced, technical environment.
We are seeking mid to advanced-level Inspectors with a strong background in machined metal parts—not plastics, not medical—and a solid understanding of AS9100, GD&T, and aerospace quality standards.

Duties/Responsibilities (Depending on experience):

  • Perform in-process, first-article (AS9102), and final inspections of precision-machined aerospace components.
  • Use inspection tools including micrometers, calipers, thread gauges, height gauges, and advanced tools such as CMMs, profilometers, and optical comparators.
  • Interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings using advanced GD&T per ANSI Y14.5.
  • Record results in MRP/ERP systems, assist with non-conformance reports (NCR), and support root cause analysis and CAPA activities.
  • Lead or mentor junior inspectors and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with AS9100, ITAR, and internal quality systems.
  • Support receiving inspections and traceability verification of raw materials and outside-processed parts.
  • Must adhere to FOD prevention, PPE usage, and cleanroom protocols where applicable.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience inspecting machined aerospace or military parts
  • Proficiency in GD&T, dimensional inspection, and visual inspection of machined metal components
  • Strong knowledge of AS9100, AS9102, and ANSI Y14.5 standards
  • Experience with CMM programming (PC-DMIS) is a plus!
  • Ability to work independently, manage complex inspection tasks, and communicate effectively in English
  • Familiarity with 1factory, FileMaker, or similar QMS/MRP systems
  • Shop math and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Must pass annual visual acuity and color perception test in accordance with NDT standards.
  • Dependable and committed to quality
