Job Description: PROCESS: Quality & Food Safety Management: • Materials quality control • Finished product Quality control • Conduct final product positive release • Address Quality requirements and hazards in a technical context • Monitor compliance of Quality agreements with stakeholders • Monitor Quality requirements and standards • Monitor compliance of Quality and Food Safety policies to business strategic plans and objectives • Participate with the actions required for Emergency Action Plan and Food defence Plan with regards to Quality & Food Safety • Ensure compliance to all Quality and Food Safety related legislation Quality Control / Laboratory Management: • Perform analytical testing as required. • Monitor and review analytical results and ensure that non-conformances are actioned • Assist in the coordination and maintain the Company’s quality inspection and product release programs FSSC 22 000, ISO 9001 and RSPO: • Participate in activities of the Integrated Management system to ensure compliance to local and international Standards • Conduct inspections and monitoring to ensure compliance to: o Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) / Prerequisite Programmes (PRP) o Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) principles o the Food Security process • Register Corrective Action and Customer Complaints and assist in the management of the processes to ensure continual improvement ISO 14001: • Inspect and monitor the waste management program with regards to food safety External Audits: • Participate and assist in external audits Quality & Food Safety Training: • Attend scheduled training Lean 6-Sigma: • Participate in planned 6-Sigma activities in line with Company objectives • Raise One Point Lessons and Kaizens as per target Quality Reporting: • Compile Quality Statistics and Reports ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Qualification: Diploma in Food Technology; Biotechnology and Analytical Chemistry Experience required: None To apply, please submit your resume and cover letter outlining your interest for this role.
