QUALITY LAB OPERATIONS MANAGER

  As the Quality Lab Operations Leader, you will oversee a variety of laboratory activities in both quality control and research environments, working for a Chemical Manufacturing Facility. Leading the QC team, you will manage technicians in sample validation, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement initiatives. Reporting to the QC Lab Manager, you will serve as a performance role model, team facilitator, and driver of strategic objectives at the laboratory level.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of professional laboratory experience.
• Proven leadership experience managing a team.
• Willingness to work overtime as required by business or project needs.
• Strong knowledge of ISO and IATF quality management systems

• Drive team performance and establish accountability processes for feedback.
• Partner with multiple departments to support strategic goals.
• Lead and support root cause analysis (RCA) activities.
• Identify and implement process improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with other QC lab supervisors to coordinate cross-area initiatives.
• Conduct daily meetings with technicians to review priorities and progress.
• Ensure technician needs, QC team requirements, and lab resources are met.
• Maintain compliance with the company’s Quality Management System.
• Create and track personal and team development plans.
• Contribute departmental X-matrix action items as assigned.
