  • At least 5 years of professional experience in quality assurance in a food production environment

SKILLS & COMPETITENCIES

  • Knowledge of hygiene and food safety standards (e.g. FSSC 22000)
  • Knowledge in the areas of HACCP and auditing
  • Team leadership skills
  • Sense of responsibility
  • Good command of German and English, both written and spoken

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

  • Team Lead: Lead cross-site Quality Teams in Heilbronn and Auerbach and act as management representative for certifications (FSSC, Halal, gluten-free, FDA).
  • Food Safety & Auditing: Active member or lead of HACCP and Food Defense teams; coordinate and conduct internal and external audits.
  • Food Safety, Product Safety and Quality Control: Active member or lead of HACCP and Food Defense teams; coordinate and conduct internal and external audits.

Ensure product safety and quality through inspection and evaluation of raw materials, semi-finished, and finished goods.

  • Quality Management System (QMS): Implement, maintain, and improve the local QMS in alignment with Unilever standards and regulatory requirements.
  • KPIs & Corrective Actions: Monitor quality KPIs, manage complaints, and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as key contact for external customers, suppliers, service providers, and local food authorities; member of site leadership teams.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead improvement initiatives and projects to reduce quality-related losses and enhance operational efficiency.
