Description

Are you ready to play a vital role in the success of complex space systems? We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to help embed world class quality practices into some of the most advanced propulsion technologies being developed in Europe today.
In this position, you will be central to ensuring mission assurance, regulatory compliance and smooth delivery from development to launch readiness. You will work in a collaborative and dynamic team environment, supporting key project phases and engaging with both suppliers and customers at critical milestones.
This is an opportunity to be part of a growing and forward thinking organisation where quality is not just a checkbox but a core value.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Generate, manage and release project assurance documentation including End Item Data Packs (EIDPs) in line with evolving project requirements
  • Conduct and participate in milestone reviews such as EQSR, MPCB, PCB, PDR, CDR, MRR, TRR and DRB in both internal and customer facing settings
  • Chair major non conformance review boards at project level and guide resolution strategies that are pragmatic, effective and aligned with programme objectives
  • Support mandatory and key inspection points for customer and supplier hardware, ensuring clear traceability and adherence to technical and quality standards
  • Work with cross functional teams to prevent recurrence of issues and enhance continuous improvement
  • Review manufacturing and test data for completeness and compliance
  • Collaborate with internal engineering, supply chain and HSE teams to integrate quality throughout the lifecycle of the product
  • Contribute to internal and external audits in line with recognised aerospace and space quality frameworks

What You Bring

  • A degree or HND in engineering or an equivalent combination of experience and training
  • Solid background in Quality Engineering, preferably within aerospace, space or high reliability environments
  • First hand experience with formal review processes and project level quality milestones
  • Knowledge of AS9100 or ISO9001 standards and their application in a regulated setting
  • Confidence working in both supplier oversight and customer facing roles
  • Proven ability to lead structured problem solving and root cause analysis
  • Excellent communication skills with a strong focus on detail and traceability
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining compliance and documentation quality

This role offers the chance to shape the quality culture within a highly technical environment, working on systems that have a direct impact on high profile space missions. So what? It means your work will not sit in a folder or on a shelf — it will be central to systems that are launched, tested and relied upon in some of the most demanding conditions imaginable. You will have the opportunity to lead, influence and leave a tangible mark on projects that push the boundaries of engineering and precision. This is more than just a quality role — it is a chance to contribute meaningfully to innovation and mission success.
