JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a sharp Manufacturing Quality Leader with a minimum of 15 years of experience including previous management experience. This person will have 2 or 3 supervisors reporting to them directly, and 40-50 indirect reports. No sponsorship is available so must be a U.S. Citizen or GC holder.
This person should have excellent communication and presentation skills. We’re looking for someone who’s a “thought leader” who’s both humble and confident. This person will be on the manufacturing floor every day and should be comfortable with that, as well attending and presenting in leadership meetings. We seek a proactive leader vs. reactive and someone who is always assessing what needs to be done from a technical standpoint.
You must have Manufacturing experience, however this candidate could come from manufacturing of any kind. Huge plus if the candidate comes from the automotive industry.
This person must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, and it’s a plus if they have their Black Belt certification.

QUALIFICATIONS

• BS Degree in Engineering or Quality related discipline
• 15 years of experience in Quality and Manufacturing
• Comfortable working on the factory floor and with C-Level managers
• Strong knowledge of QA processes and methods
• Experience with design and use of business intelligence applications such as MS Power Apps, Power BI dashboards
• Strong aptitude for continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing
• Ability to work with other departments
• Strong written/verbal communication and presentation skills

  Pay: $150,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year

• Develop vision and strategy for Quality Team
• Develop and implement the division’s quality strategies.
• Manage actions directed toward total cost of quality, warranty, product performance, etc.
• Provide best practice knowledge to the manufacturing team. 
• Continuously monitor product and process trends for changes in quality or related issues
• Coach and train others to become future quality leaders. 
• Collaborate with other departments to meet corporate goals. 
• Establish organizational partnerships to improve our overall effectiveness of delivering the highest level of value.
