Are you looking to utilise your scientific degree within a quality management role? Do you have experience in laboratory analysis or quality management? If so, our Quality Management Assistant opportunity in Saltford would be a fantastic position for you!
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
To be successful in this role, you will be educated to a degree level or equivalent in a science subject, preferably with some Microbiology experience.
We are looking for a methodical, accurate and attentive individual with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
You will have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Windows and Excel, and be able to promote good working relationships within your team and across the laboratory.
Experience in statistics would be advantageous, as would experience in quality systems and auditing, but this can be taught if necessary.
Opportunities to progress within the team may be possible for the right person.

Wessex Water’s Scientific Centre at Saltford carries out analyses on samples for our parent water company under contract.
We are a laboratory that utilises world-class technologies and equipment to sample and analyse water and environmental samples, with accreditation to ISO-17025, DWTS and MCERTS standards.
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, confident and motivated individual to join the Quality Management team.
Reporting to the Quality Manager, the successful applicant will be involved in optimising and maintaining all aspects of quality management, including proficiency testing, analytical quality control, auditing, document control, and advising on validation trials.
